So, bad thoughts on Netflix is basically this wild dark comedy series that just showed up and everyone’s talking about it. Tom Segura, the comedian dude who’s pretty famous for his stand-up, made it. He stars in it but also wrote and directed a bunch of it. The show is a bunch of short stories (they call them vignettes) that are all pretty messed up but in a funny way.

It’s not one big story, it’s more like if you got to see inside some twisted, sarcastic person’s brain for 20 minutes at a time. There’s a bunch of different characters and scenarios, but they all push boundaries—like, way more than shows I’ve seen before. My favorite was the one where he plays a country singer who basically loses his mind and kidnaps his fans. It’s super weird and honestly kinda creative.

The show’s getting a lot of hype because it just dropped on May 13, 2025, on Netflix, and some people can’t decide if it’s a genius comedy or just too much. But that’s probably why everyone can’t stop talking about it right now.
