Honestly, I think people are sticking with Fubara because they're tired of seeing the same old faces controlling everything. Even though Fubara got suspended, it seems like he really connects with regular people, and maybe they're just fed up with how much power Wike and his crew want to keep for themselves. I've talked to a few friends from Rivers, and a lot of them feel like Fubara's suspension was more about personal grudges than anything actually bad he did as governor.
Plus, there’s this whole drama every time the President or anybody talks about bringing Fubara back, and everyone gets super hyped, just for nothing to happen. It kind of builds this energy, like they're all waiting for their guy to finally beat the odds or whatever. I totally get why they’d keep supporting him – it’s not just about politics, it’s about wanting a new start for the state and not letting one person (or one camp) keep running things forever. People want to see their votes actually matter, you know? If Fubara comes back, maybe it’ll prove that regular people can win against the political big shots.
