Honestly, Dan Bongino called out James Comey like crazy because that 86 47 post was super weird and got a bunch of people thinking it was about getting rid of Trump. Bongino was all over it, saying pretty much that this isn't just a one-time thing with Comey, but part of a bigger mess with him basically not leading right. Bongino worked as a cop and a Secret Service agent, so he takes that stuff personally and feels like posts like that are disrespectful, not just to law enforcement, but to the whole FBI badge. He also shut down Comey's excuse, like "Really? You didn't know what people would think?" It's clear Bongino believes the old FBI under Comey had a reputation problem and wants to fix that by calling out these issues. He's all about restoring accountability and cleaning up the FBI's image, especially now that he's in leadership. If you ask me, Bongino's not afraid to be blunt about it, and he thinks this kind of drama just hurts trust in law enforcement. I actually get where he's coming from, because when leaders act out, it drags down everyone under them.
