Honestly, hearing that Ganduje quit as the APC chairman just for health stuff seems fishy to me. From what I’ve seen, whenever a big politician like Ganduje steps down, there’s usually a lot happening in the background. Yeah, he mentioned health reasons, but if you follow the news, there’s been loads of drama in the APC lately. People in the party from the North Central region were straight up asking for the chairmanship back, and there were protests too. I remember reading about him getting hit with court orders, suspensions, and tons of accusations about money stuff and controversial decisions.
Honestly, it feels like the health reason is just an easier way out. I’ve noticed top politicians sometimes use personal reasons to avoid causing an even bigger mess or embarrassing themselves or their allies. Makes sense, since everyone’s always watching and waiting to pounce. Plus, since he was close to the president and was seen moving his stuff out of the Abuja office, it kind of looks like he was pushed out, not just leaving on his own. It’s politics, so I’d bet it’s way more complicated than just a doctor’s note. What do you think?
