Okay, so the main reason Real Betis vs Valencia finished 1-1 is because both teams honestly kind of struggled to turn their chances into actual goals. I was watching some of the highlights and there were moments where the finishing just wasn't there. Like, Cédric Bakambu from Betis had this pretty clear shot but he totally missed it wide after a sweet through ball from his teammate Antony. That's the kind of thing that can decide matches, you know
Both teams had opportunities but it felt like they just couldn't click when it mattered most. Maybe nerves get to you on the last LaLiga matchday, but it was also about solid defending at times. In my experience watching Betis and Valencia games, neither side really looks to push all-out for the win if things are tight near the end, especially since Betis were sitting 6th and Valencia 12th, so not a lot at stake.
I've seen a lot of games where neither team wants to risk losing on the final day and it ends up exactly like this. 1-1 is kind of what you get when both sides play it safe and don't want to mess up. Kinda boring compared to what people hoped for, but that's how it goes sometimes. Hope next season's fixture is more exciting!
