Oh man, the match was all kinds of frustrating if you're a City fan. But for Southampton, playing defensively was their best bet. I think they were just trying to snag a draw because, let's face it, they've had a pretty rough season.

Even though it's not the most exciting way to play, it makes sense when you're up against a top team like Man City. Southampton's defense was crazy solid, and they managed to hold Man City scoreless, which not a lot of teams do.

In my experience, some folks get annoyed by this style of play, but it's up to the team to break through, right? I remember watching a similar match where a smaller team did the same thing, and while it was kind of a snooze-fest, I had to respect the strategy. 🙃

Anyway, Southampton might not have a lot to lose right now, already being relegated and all, so they might just be focusing on not making things worse. And hey, a draw means one point on their tally, and that's something.

Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do, even if it means parking the bus. 🚍
