Honestly, it's wild to think such a massive amount of money, like $400,000 in cash, wasn't documented in any way. If it were me at work, even a small transaction gets a receipt or at least a message. From what I read, John Adetola, the guy who delivered the cash, said he just didn't feel the need to write anything down. No texts, no call logs, nothing. That's so sketchy in my opinion.
I feel like if you're trying to prove someone did something illegal, especially at this level, you need more than just one person's word. Without documentation, it all sounds pretty shaky and really makes you wonder how strong the case is. I remember hearing a teacher say once, "Documentation saves you." It's hard to trust an accusation that's missing a paper trail, especially with all the corruption and politics going on in government. Like, why would anyone agree to deliver that much money without covering themselves just in case things went bad? Honestly, the lack of proof just seems to poke holes in the case against Emefiele, at least for now.
