I’ve noticed that every time Manchester United faces Aston Villa now, it feels like the whole world is picking apart United’s players. And honestly, I kinda get why. The old United used to play with swag, but now, whenever they play Villa, the performances just look flat and it kinda shows that some of the players aren’t living up to the shirt.

After the last match, Luke Shaw even said himself that the team needs to think if they’re good enough. That’s heavy coming from a player! The fans see stuff like sloppy passes, missed chances, and just a lack of energy, and it only adds fuel to the criticism. When that happens over and over on the timeline of these United vs Villa games, it's not just a fluke. People expect more because of the club's history, and when results go bad, everyone gets vocal.

I remember after one of the draws, my friend who’s a diehard United fan literally ranted for an hour about how the team had no fight. To me, the criticism makes sense because expectations are high, but it feels rough for the players to keep hearing it every week.
