Why do people always say the black market is dangerous or bad if it actually gives people cheaper prices?

So, people are always saying the black market is sketchy, even though, honestly, the biggest reason most people use it is 'cause it's cheaper. My uncle used to get stuff from the black market all the time because legit stores couldn't compete on price. But the big problem is, nobody checks if the products are safe, so you never really know what you're getting.

I've heard of folks ending up with fake or unsafe products 'cause there are no real rules in the black market. That's why cops and politicians freak out about it. Plus, black market sales don't get taxed, so the government misses out on a ton of money that could go to stuff like schools or hospitals.

There's also this whole thing about black markets helping fund other crimes, like gangs or organized crime, which obviously isn't good. Even though some people just want things cheaper, black markets can cause way more problems for society. Still, I get why people use them—money talks, and sometimes the legal option is just way too expensive.
