I feel like in today's world, we're kinda hooked on instant information, you know? Livescores feed into that by giving us immediate updates when we're not able to watch the game live.
People are constantly glued to their phones, eager to know if their team is winning or losing. It might be that fear of missing out—FOMO, as they call it. Plus, we have fantasy leagues and bets riding high, so every score update matters way more than it might have years ago.
I have a friend who checks his phone even during class just to see if his fantasy team is scoring points. It's like a rush every time the screen lights up with a new update.
But hey, sometimes, I'd say let's take a breather and not let livescores run our lives. The game's happening in real-time, sure, but we can catch up when we're done with whatever we’re doing. After all, what’s a game if not enjoyed fully?
