Honestly, it feels like Squid Game season 3 on Netflix is splitting fans right down the middle. From what I've seen online and talking to my friends, some people absolutely love how intense and emotional the season is, especially with how Gi-hun has to make all these tragic choices and ends up sacrificing himself. They say it's a fitting end that shows how messed up the whole idea of these deadly games is, and that the creators really went out with a bang.
On the flip side, a lot of people are mad because they think season 3 just tries too hard. Like, some say the new games aren't that creative anymore and that adding a baby as a contestant was super weird and kind of desperate. I've also seen people complain that it feels way more dramatic and drawn out compared to the original, and some of my classmates couldn't even finish it because it felt like the magic was gone after season 1.
Still, I'm glad the show took risks even if they didn’t all work for everyone. At least it gave everyone tons to talk about, right? It’s wild seeing how divided people are about it, but I guess that just means it’s a huge deal. What’d you think of the ending?
