I used to think Handmaid's Tale was just straight up depressing, but the more I watched, the more I realized there's actually a lot of hope mixed in. Like, every time June stands up to the awful people in Gilead or helps someone escape, it's like the show is saying you shouldn't give up, even if things look bad. My mom always says the best stories are the ones where characters fight back, and I think that's why some fans see hope in it.

Even with all the messed up stuff, there are moments where people are kind to each other or risk everything to help friends and family. Those little bits actually feel powerful. So, I get why people say there's hope even when everything's falling apart in Gilead. It's like the show wants you to believe you can fight for something better, no matter how hard it gets. Kinda cheesy, but honestly sometimes I need that kind of message!
