Man, it's actually pretty wild to think about. Kepa was this huge signing for Chelsea back in the day, like everyone knew him as the most expensive keeper ever, which is nuts. But I think a mix of messed up confidence and just not living up to the hype seriously hurt him. I remember all those games where he'd mess up an easy save or get super nervous under pressure, and fans totally lost trust in him. Chelsea tried to stick by him for a bit, but then they brought in Mendy, and suddenly Kepa was just sitting on the bench a lot.

I've seen a bunch of players have this sort of fall from grace, but it's always kinda weird when it's at a massive club and with so much money involved. Now going to Arsenal as a backup, it's like they're just taking a low-risk bet, because honestly he must have learned a lot from all those high-pressure situations. Plus, Arsenal probably just needs a guy who’s fine with being second choice behind Raya. Sometimes careers just go unexpectedly, and for Kepa, it's like he's got to find a new path even if it's not as the main guy. If he helps Arsenal win a few games or gives Raya real competition, maybe people talk about him differently again. Honestly, I hope he gets his confidence back. Sports can be brutal but also give second chances, you know?
