Oh man, Hugo Ekitike is getting all this hype because he just killed it at Eintracht Frankfurt. I watched his highlights this season and honestly, he’s not just a tall target man like people expect – he’s super quick and tricky for someone over 6 feet. He scored 15 Bundesliga goals, and even though he takes a bunch of shots (he actually took more than Harry Kane this year), he’s always in the right place at the right time.

What I really noticed is how he plays with Marmoush – those counterattacks were insane. But even when Frankfurt had the ball, Ekitike finds these smart runs into the channels and just wrecks defenders. He’s still not the best finisher according to the stats, but getting so many chances means he’s doing something right. Scouts think he’s got a crazy high ceiling and with some more work, he could go to an even bigger club. I have a feeling that’s why Chelsea and Liverpool are all over him now. If he keeps this up, we might be talking about him like the next Haaland or Mbappe.
