Honestly, I think it matters so much because Scarlett Johansson isn't just another random celebrity hosting SNL. She’s hosted seven times now, more than any other woman, so she kinda feels like part of the SNL family. I remember the hype on Twitter every time she’s announced as host. She’s just really good at it — like, she can be funny, goofy, and somehow never seems awkward even in the wildest sketches. Her chemistry with the regular cast, and especially with Colin Jost (her husband), makes for some hilarious moments (like the Weekend Update joke swap this year). People expect big moments from her, so when she shows up, fans get super pumped to see what crazy characters or skits she’ll pull off. It's almost like a sporting event where everyone’s rooting for their favorite player to break a record! I love how she always tries something new, and seeing legends like Mike Myers or even Bad Bunny jump in makes it feel extra special. So, I get why everyone cares so much every time Scarlett Johansson is back on SNL.
