Oh man, Journalism winning at the Preakness 2025 was wild! I honestly think it felt so huge because everyone was watching to see if Journalism could bounce back after getting second in the Kentucky Derby. Like seriously, nobody thought Journalism would pull it off by fighting all the way to the end at Pimlico. You could just feel the hype building up as Larry Collmus called that breakneck finish.

What I noticed is, usually the Derby winner is the favorite going in. But Journalism totally flipped the vibe, proving that losing the Derby doesn't mean you're out of the spotlight. Everyone loves an underdog story, and this win set up major drama for the rest of the Triple Crown. Even my friends who aren't into horse racing were talking about it in group chat! I guess it just goes to show, one race can change everything and get people excited again about the whole Triple Crown thing. If you've seen the NBC Sports clip, you totally get why it was so intense.

Pretty wild moment—I won't forget it anytime soon!
