Yeah, I think the price of the iPhone 17 Pro Max is gonna make a lot of people think twice about upgrading this year. From what I've seen, every time a new Pro Max drops, there's a bunch of people hyped to buy, but as soon as they see that price tag, some just stick with their older phones.

Like, my cousin was dead set on getting the 16 Pro Max last year, but once he added up the cost of the phone, a case, and AppleCare, it was almost as much as a really solid laptop. Now with the 17 Pro Max expected to be even pricier, I bet more people are just gonna wait or look for deals on the older models.

Don’t get me wrong; there’s always fans who need the latest, but in my group, we joke you need a small loan just to upgrade every year. People care about price, and if Apple keeps raising it, others will just keep their old phones longer. I've definitely skipped a generation or two just because it wasn't worth emptying my savings.
