Oh man, I totally get why you’d worry about this. One of my friends had his jamb rescheduled utme results delayed, and he was freaking out because everyone else was already checking their admission status. The truth is, it doesn’t mean you’re out of luck right away. JAMB usually just wants to be extra sure there was no cheating or tech issues before they release the result.

From what I’ve seen and read, if your result is withheld, JAMB will reach out to you either by text or through the portal. If you know you didn’t do anything wrong, just keep checking your profile and email. If they find everything’s okay, your scores will get released and you can still be considered for admission. But yeah, sometimes it takes longer and that part is so stressful.

If for some reason your results get canceled for malpractice or something like that, then yeah, you can’t get admission with that year’s UTME. But if it’s just a delay because of issues at your center or technical faults out of your control, you should still be in the running. Don’t stop applying to schools or lose hope! Just keep following up, and talk to your school counselor or exam officer for advice. It really helps to have someone on your side.
