Honestly, it kinda looks like the Knicks are ahead of the Celtics at the moment, but I wouldn’t say they’re straight up better overall. Injuries are making a huge difference, especially since the Celtics are missing Jayson Tatum, who’s like their main guy. I remember last year when the Knicks barely made it past the first round, but now they’re up 3-1 against a team that was supposed to be a title favorite. That’s wild.

I still wouldn’t count Boston out, especially because they destroyed the Knicks in Game 5 (without Tatum!)—they shot 22 threes and played awesome defense. But I’ve found that playoffs are just different, and a couple of bad shooting nights or foul trouble (like Brunson fouling out) can turn a series. So yeah, the Knicks have the edge right now, but if Boston was healthy, I think it’d be way closer. But man, being a Knicks fan right now has to feel pretty good for once!
