If you ask me, I think the atmosphere is a huge deal, especially for Legia Warszawa. Their fans are basically like a 12th player, so when they decide to go quiet or boycott, yeah, it changes the whole vibe. For the Legia Warszawa vs Wisla Plock match, without the fans cheering, singing, and doing those crazy displays, it might actually feel like a boring friendly, not a real game with something at stake.
I’ve been to a couple games where the stands were dead silent and it’s just so weird. Players even say they get more pumped up when the crowd is loud, so I wouldn’t be surprised if Legia play kind of flat. Wisla Plock could totally take advantage of that. Sometimes the visiting team plays better because there’s less pressure and the intimidation factor is gone. I know home advantage is supposed to matter, but without the Legia supporters, it might not. Honestly, if Legia lose points at home this season, it wouldn’t shock me at all
