Yeah, I actually think Real Sociedad could shock people if a few things line up. First, Madrid might rest some of their big names like Mbappé or Bellingham since the league is already wrapped up for them. That gives Sociedad a shot if they go hard early and put them under pressure. I’ve seen matches where the underdog just hits first and suddenly it’s a different game.
Sociedad would need to play super aggressive, maybe press really high to force mistakes from Madrid’s defense. Their best chance is probably catching Madrid off guard while the home crowd gets impatient. Takefusa Kubo is fast and tricky—if he’s on, he can make something happen.
Also, if Madrid is missing a few defenders or their mind is already on their summer holidays, a quick counter or a set-piece goal could turn the match. No one thought they’d tie Madrid 4-4 in the cup, but crazy scores happen.
It’s probably a long shot, but honestly, that's what makes football awesome. I’d love to see an underdog moment like that!
