I'd say the Ojude Oba Festival is like a perfect mashup of old traditions and new school fashion vibes. If you check social media today, there's way more hype about the coordinating outfits (aso-ebi) and the latest designer looks than even the parades sometimes! I remember seeing photos of my cousins from Ijebu rocking crazy cool outfits, and the comment sections were going off.

But people also come out for the cultural side: the parades, dances, and the big respect paid to the king. It's just now, with Instagram and TikTok, everyone wants their picture to be the one everyone talks about. My favorite part is honestly seeing all the different styles, and how the OGs and the younger crowd both find ways to stand out.

So yeah, it's still about tradition at its heart, but let's be real, the fashion game is a major part now!
