So, every single time I try to check my paystub or mess with my info in workday, it hits me with that annoying captcha thing or makes me get a code from my phone. At first I thought it was totally over the top, but after hearing about people getting their school or bank stuff hacked, it kinda makes sense.
I remember my friend couldn't even log in during finals week because she failed her security check—she was losing her mind. But really, anyone with your password could literally peek at your money, register for (or drop!) your classes, and probably mess up your whole semester. That's probably why workday's so strict about security. It can feel like a pain, but I'd rather click a few extra boxes than have someone steal my info.
If you're annoyed, just know everyone else is, too. But unless you want your financial details floating around out there, it's actually kinda smart. I just save my info and hope they make it easier some day. Until then, better safe than sorry, right?
