So, one thing I really like about Final Destination Bloodlines is how it brings together stuff from the old movies and mixes in new things. The main connection is the whole 'cheating Death' idea that started with the first Final Destination. In Bloodlines, they go all the way back to 1968 with Stefanie’s grandma, Iris, who also had those creepy premonitions. That makes it feel like Death’s curse is stuck to their family, which is a cool twist on the usual group of friends. And Tony Todd’s character, who’s totally a link to the other movies, shows up again and ties it all back together. Plus, some of the death scenes reference the classic ones but change things enough to keep it fresh. I’ve watched all the old ones, and it felt cool seeing these little callbacks while also following new people. It honestly feels like a proper sequel, not just a random story with new faces.
