I 100 percent think social media pressure had a huge part in Annie Knight getting hospitalized. Like, let’s be real, the OnlyFans crowd and social media are all about going viral and doing wild stuff to get more subscribers and attention. I see it all the time on TikTok and Instagram – people do stuff just for the shock factor or the likes.

I remember a couple years ago when people were eating Tide Pods for views. Annie’s challenge feels kinda like that, just taken to a whole other level. The pressure to stand out probably made her take things further than she ever should have. She even talked about wanting to set some crazy record and get noticed by more people – that’s clearly the whole point for a lot of influencers.

The thing is, these stunts have real consequences that you can’t just brush off. Annie ended up seriously hurt and in the hospital, and I bet the stress of trying to keep up with what fans want played a huge part. Honestly, clout isn’t worth your health. There’s nothing wrong with wanting attention online, but risking your body is something else.
