Oh, I totally get why this matters! When they announced that new bridge for Dubai Al Ain Road and how it'll pull off a faster route, I was thinking about all those shops and restaurants that used to get traffic during those massive jams. For businesses right along the road, I guess it's a double-edged sword. Like, more cars can get through quicker, which means maybe more out-of-town customers, deliveries will be faster, and you won't have people turning away because of annoying delays or gridlock.
But, on the flip side, places that relied on traffic jams—like local coffee stands or car wash spots people stopped at out of boredom—could lose out. You've got to adapt fast in business here, so I imagine the smart ones will start throwing up bigger signs or do quick online ads to get noticed by all that faster traffic.
Honestly, change is scary, but it could push some businesses to get even better. I'm rooting for the little guys to win with these big city projects!
