I actually wondered that about a lot of artists, but on Lemon Chase, I think Kizz Daniel is using his real voice a lot. Sure, the producers probably cleaned up the tracks and added effects here and there, but you can still hear his natural tone peeking through, especially in tracks like “Eyo.” I remember listening to some of his older live performances, and it sounds pretty close to what’s on this EP—just smoother because it’s recorded in a studio.

In my experience, Kizz Daniel never really needed a ton of auto-tune or anything. He’s got a cool voice and knows how to use it. If you listen with headphones, you can catch those small moments where it feels raw, like he’s just singing in the room with you. The production just gives it a little extra bounce, which is honestly part of what makes it sound so good. So yeah, it’s his real voice, just with some studio magic for polish.
