Okay, so I've been thinking about this a lot—when Tinubu appoints people like Dogara or fills up university councils with tons of new names, it honestly looks a lot like he's just trying to lock in loyal people before the next election. My uncle always says that Nigerian politics is mostly about who you know, and it sure seems true a lot of the time. I get that every president wants their own team, but when it comes to jobs and education, regular people need someone who actually cares about fixing stuff, not just keeping power.

Like, the NCGC could totally help students and small business owners get the support they need, especially if someone who really understands the struggle is in charge. Same with the university councils—a shakeup could be good if it's done for the right reasons. But if these appointments are just about making Tinubu stronger for 2027, I don't think anything will actually change. In my opinion, the government should focus way more on results and less on politics, because people are tired of hearing big promises and getting nothing out of it. I guess we'll just have to wait and see if things really improve, but I'm not holding my breath.
