Honestly, I was kinda shocked when I heard both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli retired before this India vs England Test series. They've been legends for so long, and watching them go up against England always got me hyped. But you know what? Sometimes having new guys like Shubman Gill taking over as captain can actually make things even more unpredictable and fun to watch. I mean, when big stars leave, it kinda puts this pressure on the next generation to prove themselves. I remember back when Dravid and Tendulkar left, people thought Indian cricket wouldn't be the same, but we got some new stars super quick.

Now, with Gill in charge and Pant as vice-captain, plus all these fresh faces like Sudharsan and Arshdeep Singh, it honestly feels like something new is brewing. Plus, England will still be playing their wild Bazball style, so the matches should have some crazy moments. Sure, I’ll miss seeing Rohit and Kohli smack the English bowlers, but there’s also the excitement of finding out who steps up next. Sometimes it’s the unknowns that become the new legends. So yeah, even without those two, I think this India vs England series could surprise everyone – and maybe get even more people talking.
