Honestly, as someone who’s younger and has younger siblings, I don’t think Twitch is totally safe for kids without watching them pretty close. There’s just so much random stuff people can stream, from games to just chatting about whatever, and not all of it is kid-friendly. Even in game streams, people sometimes swear or talk about stuff that's not cool for kids.
I know Twitch has some parental controls and there are ratings on some streams, but you can still stumble into weird stuff pretty fast. My parents won’t let my little brother use Twitch at all unless they’re literally sitting next to him. I think if parents wanna let their kids on Twitch, they should watch with them and pick streamers they trust. There’s no real way to make it totally safe, because you can’t control what live people will say or do, but sticking to known channels helps a bit. So, it’s kinda risky if you ask me.
