Should I care about cookies when I go on game sites to look at tables and scores or is it just annoying popups?

Oh man, those cookie popups are everywhere and they're super annoying, right? But they do kinda matter, especially when you're checking out games tables or scores online. So, those cookies are used by sites like the Premier League website to remember your settings, track what you look at, and sometimes show you ads that are supposed to be interesting for you. I didn't really care until I noticed ads for soccer shoes popping up everywhere after I looked up tables.

You can usually pick which cookies you accept, and if you block the ones for ads or tracking, some features on games sites might not work as well. For real, if you care about privacy, it's smart to turn off what you don't want. But if you're just looking for the latest scores fast, it's not a huge deal, just something to keep in mind. Personally, I let the basic cookies stay so I don't miss out on the stuff I actually want to see, but I always block the extra ones that want to "personalize my experience."
