Honestly, a bunch of my friends' families have started leaving their cars at home because diesel is just so expensive these days. Like I see it every day at school, fewer people get dropped off in big diesel SUVs or trucks. People are straight up saying it's not worth burning money just to drive everywhere.

I read that a lot of motorists are stressed about how much it costs to fill up, and some even talk about getting rid of their cars if things don’t get cheaper soon. Some folks are looking at public transport more or even thinking about getting hybrids or electric cars when they can.

So yeah, people aren’t happy about it—they’re cutting back on driving, planning fewer trips, or carpooling with friends and family. In my own family, we literally plan out grocery runs so we only drive once a week. It’s wild how much diesel prices can change the way people live day to day. I just hope prices chill out soon so people aren’t stuck at home all the time!
