Okay, I totally get this. I get like 100 "Happy Eid" messages and most of them feel copied and pasted every single year. What makes a difference, in my experience, is when someone adds something personal or talks about a memory. Like, instead of just saying "Happy Eid Mubarak," you could say something about the fun you had at last year’s feast, or wish them good luck on their studies, or even include a private joke.
My cousin always sends a little voice note instead of typing. It’s way more fun and actually makes me smile. Some people make custom GIFs or even a simple selfie with a funny filter just for their friends or family. I tried that once and everyone loved it! You can even write a small message about what you’re grateful for this Eid, or send a quote that means something to you, not just random stuff you find online.
Basically, if you want your happy eid wishes to stand out, make it about them, or about something specific you two share. It honestly takes five extra seconds, but feels way more real and makes the whole celebration even happier.
