What’s actually cool about biodun oyebanji is, the dude isn’t scared to reach out to people who weren’t always on his side. I remember hearing him talk on TV about how he calls all the former governors—like the guys he replaced and even those from different parties—just to get their advice on tough issues.

He said he learned from one ex-governor that it’s better not to keep fighting old enemies and to just focus on getting stuff done. That seems to work, because Ekiti politics right now is way less messy than it used to be. Old rivals now just drop him tips or, honestly, keep out of his way!

From what I’ve seen, oyebanji doesn’t care if the advice comes from someone who wanted his job before or not. He just takes good advice and stays cool with everyone. That’s probably why people in Ekiti say things actually get done now, instead of everybody just yelling and getting nothing fixed.
