A lot of folks care about tinubu federal agencies appointments because it seriously affects how the country runs. From what I’ve seen on social media and news discussions, who gets these big jobs can totally change what happens in the country, because these people decide on policies about money, jobs, power, and even which regions get what. There’s also a lot of talk about fairness, like making sure people from different states get opportunities. For example, when people said Tinubu’s appointments were ignoring the North, there was a ton of criticism—then when he added more northerners, like with those 12 agency jobs, politicians like Senator Ndume spoke out and praised him for fixing the problem.
People want to see themselves represented, whether it’s their ethnicity, state, or religion. And there’s always this fear that certain appointments are about rewarding friends or settling scores instead of actually picking the best people for the job. I think all of this makes ordinary Nigerians pay a lot of attention to these appointments, because it trickles down to what goes on in their life, like jobs and electricity and education. If you ask me, it’s not just politicians who should care – it’s everyone, because the people in charge of these federal agencies have the power to make life better or worse for millions.
