Why did the creators make Predator Killer of Killers an animated film and not a regular live action one, especially since it seems like such a big move for the franchise?

Honestly, I was super surprised too when I found out Predator Killer of Killers was animated. I mean, with how epic the Predator franchise usually is in live action, it kinda felt risky, right? But I think it actually allowed them to show way crazier stuff they probably couldn’t have done otherwise. Like, the anthology stories are set in Viking times, feudal Japan, and WWII—the fight scenes are wild and there’s so much brutal action. Animation lets them pull off brutal scenes, crazy weapons, and wild deaths that would probably cost a ton or look fake in live action with CGI. I get why some people, including reviewers, were kinda sad it's not live action, especially since the story sounds like it could have crushed it in theaters. But after watching it, I actually liked how the animation let them get bolder with the visuals and kept the excitement going. Honestly, if you’re a Predator fan, it’s still awesome—maybe even more so since they pushed past what the usual movies do. So while live action would’ve been dope, animation wasn’t a bad call after all.
