Man, when TikTok goes down, everyone acts like the world is ending. I totally get it. I've seen it with my own friends—one minute we're sharing funny videos, and the next, everyone's scrambling to reset their WiFi or check their phones. I think it's because TikTok became a giant part of how we all chill, laugh, and even just pass the time. It's more than an app. It's kind of like the new TV or playground for most teens.
I remember last time the app crashed, my cousin kept refreshing every two seconds because she was scared her account got banned. People depend on TikTok for entertainment, even for learning new trends, music, or recipes. When it's suddenly gone, it feels like something's missing from your daily routine. Plus, since TikTok's algorithm is crazy good at showing you stuff you like, it almost feels personal when it's not working.
Lots of people panic during an outage because they're afraid they'll miss out on trends, lose views, or just get bored. It's like FOMO but worse. So, I totally get why people freak out, even if it seems dramatic. We've all kinda gotten used to always having it there when we're bored or need a laugh.
