I’ve noticed that too—every time something comes up about f1, especially with all the talk about going green, people start comparing it to Formula E. I think it’s because Formula E is all about electric cars while f1 is still doing hybrid engines, so people wonder if f1 is going to get left behind as the world goes more eco-friendly.

I remember seeing this crazy debate online about whether Formula E would eventually replace f1, but honestly, I don’t see it happening any time soon. f1 is a legend and has way more history and fans, plus those cars are way faster for now. But I’ll admit, with Formula E doing races in cities like Shanghai now, and everyone talking about the future of racing, f1 probably does feel a little bit of pressure to keep up or go electric eventually. Personally, I like both for different reasons but I’d be super sad if f1 lost its signature sound or speed just to compete with Formula E.
