I've noticed a lot of people online and in the news talking about how Atiku Abubakar is stirring things up politically, and honestly, it's kinda wild. Some folks think he’s making things unstable in Nigeria before the 2027 elections because he keeps throwing heavy criticism at President Tinubu and calling out the government for stuff like economic hardship and debt. Plus, there was this big drama where he supposedly tried to get an American court involved to disqualify Tinubu from running again. That seriously ticked a lot of elders and political bigwigs off, who said it wasn’t cool and could make things more tense than they already are.

In my opinion, it's almost like Atiku's actions make everything more dramatic and causes people to pick sides even harder. I’ve seen families and friends get into arguments just reading updates about these guys online. But I also get that he says he’s doing it to protect democracy and check the government, so maybe his fans see him as a watchdog. A lot of regular people just want politicians to stop fighting and focus on fixing real problems like money, food, and security. It’s honestly a mess, but that’s Nigerian politics for you!
