Why do so many people say Eid Mubarak to complete strangers online these days, especially on platforms like Instagram or even YouTube comments? Does it actually matter or is it just spam?

So, I've definitely noticed a lot of Eid Mubarak messages from people I don't even know popping up in my DMs or all over YouTube and Insta. At first, I honestly thought it was kinda pointless or maybe even a little spammy. But then I realized it's just people wanting to share the holiday spirit without boundaries.

For a lot of us, especially teens, social media is like half our life. During Eid, it feels kinda cool to get a flood of positive messages, even from strangers. I remember last year a total stranger messaged me Eid Mubarak after seeing my story, and we ended up chatting about our favorite Eid desserts. Made the holiday feel a lot more global, like you're part of something huge.

Sure, not every message means a ton, but for some, those little greetings can make you feel seen, even if you're far from family or new in a town. So yeah, sometimes it's a bit much, but more often it's just a reminder that people around the world want to connect—even if it’s just for a day.
