Honestly, it's kinda wild that Israel's still in Eurovision, right? With all the protests and drama, you'd think they'd get kicked out like Russia did that one year. But Eurovision isn't super strict about only having European countries. Israel's been in Eurovision since like the 1970s, so it's not new or anything. The people who run Eurovision, the EBU, say they're not political, so they don't just ban countries because of conflicts. But I get why people are mad, especially with Gaza in the news and so many calling out Israel. I saw clips where fans booed and protested during Israel's song this year, and honestly, it looked stressful for the artist. Still, the organizers want Eurovision to be for everyone, and they treat each situation different, which is confusing. I feel like they pick and choose what matters to them. So, Israel's still in, but I wouldn't be shocked if the rules change in the future if people stay this fired up.
