So a lot of people are talking about Preakness 2025 because it’s actually the last year the race is happening at Pimlico as we know it. I saw on the news that the Pimlico Race Course is going to get totally redone after this year, so it’s like the end of an era for a lot of horse racing fans and even people from Baltimore. My uncle always goes every year for the Preakness parties, so he’s kinda bummed, but also excited for whatever the new Pimlico will look like.

I honestly think it’s cool and kind of emotional because there’s so much history in those old stands, but at the same time, the track is looking pretty run down. Everyone’s taking photos and saying this Preakness is gonna feel different, like a goodbye party for the old Pimlico. If you’re from Baltimore or you like horse racing even a little bit, people are saying this is the one you don’t want to miss because you’ll never see the track like this again. My advice? Grab a friend and go check it out for the vibes, even if you’re not super into horses.
