Honestly, the whole thing with Nyesom Wike and the PDP just seems like a big soap opera. Wike is basically saying he’s fed up with trying to fix all these party problems because people like Seyi Makinde (the Oyo Governor) keep breaking promises and not sticking to deals they agreed on. From what I’ve seen, they had all these meetings and came up with solutions, like who should be National Secretary and dropping some legal fights, but then some leaders just ignored what they decided. Wike is calling out Makinde and a few others for acting shady and not respecting what everyone signed up for.

I guess it’s pretty frustrating, right? If people keep switching sides or breaking deals, there’s no trust left. I know I wouldn’t want to put my name on stuff if the others just went behind my back! Wike seems really disappointed because he’s worked hard for his party for years, and now he feels like he’s fighting alone. In my experience, a group falls apart real quick when people don’t trust each other, and that looks like what’s happening in the PDP right now. I even read that they didn’t let an official candidate’s letter go through and messed up some congress stuff because of drama over signatures. It’s kinda wild, and I don’t think it’ll be fixed until they all get on the same page.
