Yar'Adua is still praised in politics 'cause he was kinda unique compared to other leaders. People say he was different because he focused on honesty and fairness. Even 15 years after his passing, leaders like the PDP (his political party) and Dr. Bukola Saraki still give him shoutouts for his reforms. They loved how he worked on stuff like making elections fair and sorting out issues in places like the Niger Delta.
In my opinion, it's like when someone leaves a legacy of doing things right. I mean, people will remember them even if they're gone. My dad always says a leader who thinks about duty instead of power is special, and that's what folks seem to think about Yar'Adua. He left an impact in ways that people still talk about today. It's kind of cool if you think about it.
