Honestly, I added Lemon Chase to my playlist the second I heard a couple tracks. The EP has seven songs and they all just have this feel-good vibe, so it’s kinda perfect for when you want background music for studying, chilling, or even hanging out with friends. A lot of the tracks, like “Showa” and “Titi,” have these memorable hooks that just get stuck in your head—in a good way.

What’s really cool is the range of sounds in Lemon Chase. You get upbeat, dancey tracks, but also some that are more mellow, like “Eyo.” Plus, Kizz Daniel’s vocals are always smooth, and the artists he features add a lot of variety without making the EP feel messy. In my experience, an album or EP that mixes both high energy and chill tracks always stays on my playlist longer.

So if you want good afrobeats you won’t get bored of, or you just want to see how Kizz Daniel’s evolving, you should totally give Lemon Chase a try. After a few listens, you’ll probably find yourself humming the songs without even realizing it!
