Did Ironheart actually show Riri Williams having both iron and heart, or did the show just feel like a typical Marvel spinoff with no real emotion or strength?

To be honest, I feel like the Ironheart show kinda struggled to actually live up to the whole iron heart name. I mean, yeah, Riri Williams obviously has all this tech and intelligence, so she's got the iron part nailed—her suits are pretty cool if you like that stuff. But when it comes to the heart side of things, I felt like the show was kinda cold sometimes. There were moments, like when she's dealing with losing her best friend Natalie or trying to fit in back home in Chicago, that should have felt really emotional, but it got buried under all the exposition and slow pacing.

I watched the first few episodes hoping I'd start to care more about Riri. But most of the time, the show tells you she’s smart and struggling, instead of letting you see her work through stuff on her own. Like, instead of feeling inspired, I just felt a bit bored. It felt like Marvel was trying to check off boxes: new hero, more diversity, connect to the bigger MCU, and that's cool and all, but if there isn't real feeling behind it, what's the point? I've seen way more heart in other Marvel shows. So yeah, I guess Ironheart had the ingredients but didn't put them together in a way that made me actually care.
