In my opinion, Brian Burkheiser was like, the secret weapon for I Prevail making it big. I remember when everyone first started talking about them because they nailed that "Blank Space" cover—Brian's vocals just made it feel epic. But it wasn't just with covers, either. Listen to their original songs like "Hurricane" or "Breaking Down" from Trauma, and it's super obvious how much of their emotion comes from his singing.

Their album Trauma even got nominated for a Grammy, which is pretty wild for a band that started on YouTube. I don't think they would've gotten all those hit singles or that level of awards attention if Brian wasn't there to carry the clean parts.

A lot of fans (including me) got into I Prevail because they had that perfect mix of heavy screaming and those straight-up catchy choruses Brian brought. So, honestly, I think he's one of the biggest reasons they blew up. It'll be interesting to see how the band does without him, but his impact is definitely not going away anytime soon.
