Honestly, if you only want to watch Rory McIlroy and not sit through everyone else's shots, you gotta check out featured group coverage. I did this last year and it was super easy. ESPN+ and the official PGA Championship website usually let you pick featured groups, so if Rory’s in one, you can just follow him for the entire round. The coverage starts from his first tee shot and pretty much follows every stroke, so you don’t miss any of the drama—even if he’s having a rough hole or on fire.
The cool thing is, you get to see his reactions, chat with his caddie, and every shot shown live, not just highlights. If you don’t have ESPN+ already, they do that free week trial (just remember to cancel if you don’t want to pay). I did that for The Masters once. Also, sometimes the CBS Sports app covers featured groups, but ESPN+ is much better for this in my experience. So yeah, you should totally try streaming his group—I loved being able to just focus on one player and felt way more connected to the action.
