Honestly, whether or not the Children’s Day LEGO set is worth it depends on why you're shopping. I've saved up for cool GWPs before, but only when there was already stuff I wanted to buy. If you're spending $100 just for the bear, it might not feel worth it after the hype dies down. But if you know you’re grabbing some new sets anyway, getting an extra 238-piece set for free is actually pretty awesome.

From what I've seen, people like collecting these limited sets because they either become valuable later or just look cool on a shelf. The FOMO is real, and LEGO knows how to get people to splurge. Personally, I’d only go for it if I had something on my wish list already, because spending that much just for a bonus feels like falling for the marketing trick. But hey, if you’re obsessed with teddy bears or Children’s Day, then why not? It’s your money, and sometimes having these unique sets just makes your collection way more special.

I say think twice before dropping cash only for the GWP, but if you were planning a haul anyway, go for it and enjoy the free set!
