Okay, so getting the Nigeria TVET monthly grant isn't actually that complicated. From what I've read, you just need to enrol in one of the Nigerian government-approved technical colleges. Once you're in, you become eligible for the N45,000 every month as long as you're attending classes and actually studying a technical or vocational course. The best part is this money isn't a loan, so you don’t have to pay it back later – it’s just a grant, literally free cash to help you out with expenses while you learn.

The funding is coming straight from the federal government. President Bola Tinubu committed N120 billion to this new TVET initiative because they really want to fix up technical education and make it more attractive. The whole plan is supposed to be managed by the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFund), so they're the ones handing out the grants. I’ve met a kid who just started a plumbing course and she’s already planning how to use her stipend for her school tools.

Honestly, I think this is way better than what a lot of us got for just being in school. Makes me kinda wish I’d tried a technical course too.
